Marvin and Linda Winter

The imposing two-story porch and columns at the front of the the Winters' home demanded a landscape that projected the same class and atmosphere. Paired focal points flank both the stairs from the driveway and the front door, while a large weeping tree anchors the left-hand end of the home. The overall design invokes style and class a guest feels long before reaching the front door.

Key Features and Concerns

  • A stunning pair of Serpentine Blue Atlas Cedars flanking the stairway from the drive to the walk
  • An imposing Green Arrow Weeping Alaskan Cedar at the left corner of the house
  • The Winters needed a solution fast when one of their paired Dwarf Hinoki Cypress topiary died one winter, leaving their landscape unbalanced. Since the ideal replacement would not be available until spring, Bloomfield Nursery gave them an alternate pair of feature plants to fill in until they could hand-select the long-term replacements when they came back into stock.

Set your home apart with a stunning, low-maintenance landscape.
